Avenue HQ

St. Petersburg FL

Inspired by Michael Beirut’s unique approach to create a unifying visual style for a Yale School of Architecture lecture series, I was tasked with creating an architecture-based poster using only two

type-treatments. The building I chose to serve as the foundation for my poster was Frank Lloyd Wright’s Spring House in Tallahasse. The treatment I chose for my display face uses black slats to salute the architect’s use of warped wooden panels while steering onlookers to key information.
